FAQ: Should We Rent Golf Carts for Our French’s Point Wedding?

Golf Carts are a beneficial rental item for our clients, guests & vendors during the wedding weekend! With three homes, extensive recreational areas & a number of event locations at the estate, there is a fair bit of ground to cover, for guests & vendors alike. Rented golf carts are incredibly helpful to have available to transport mobility-limited or elderly guests & also beneficial to your planner & vendor team.  

Goudreau & Sons Golf Carts, LLC is our recommended provider for renting golf carts. They will deliver the carts the morning of your arrival at the estate, and pick them up at departure so you can enjoy, utilize & benefit from them for the entirety of the weekend. 

We suggest that you provide this valuable support to your planner, & provide them with a cart, so they can easily transport items for set up & break down. It will provide more efficient conditions for their team.

Although the homes at the estate are located within walking distance from one another, having one cart available at the Farm House & Beach House is beneficial for transporting older or mobility-limited guests that may be staying in these homes, and attending events at the Retreat House. 

For your safety & liability, golf carts can be driven by non-drinking, adult guests, & remain at low speeds at all times & only on travel along established gravel pathways & paved roads. Please park them off roadways to avoid creating congestion & do not leave the keys in the cart! 

If you choose to rent golf carts for your stay, please inform us & schedule their delivery & pickup times within the duration of your rental term. You’ll be so glad that you did.
